    An E-Pass is mandatory to visit Valparai. Tourists must obtain the E-Pass in advance before travelling. Vehicles travelling to Valparai must also cross the Aliyar Forest Department Checkpost before 6:00 PM. Vehicles will not be allowed to proceed on the forest road after 6:00 PM.

    This regulation is implemented to ensure wildlife protection and traffic control in the Anamalai Tiger Reserve area.
